OUR MINISTER

Our minister joined the church in 2016 after graduating from Birmingham bible institute. This is his first church placement with his young family. His wife Esther and daughter Rosalie.

Mark was brought up within a brethren church where biblical teachings were sound and stood him good stead into adulthood.

He trained as a Sunday school teacher firstly and then, with a heart for furthering Gods kingdom within the works of Christian youth ministry. He worked at various activity weekends within this area.

Mark and Esther were married in 2006 and were blessed in 2010 with the birth of their daughter Rosalie.

Mark has preached at many churches over the years and is passionate about sharing the word of God.

His love of all things “Geeky” serves to amuse and often provide an unobtrusive way in which to convey an illustration to a younger and perhaps on occasions less biblically aware group that he comes into contact with. His methods are youthful and relevant with the work with young adults, a work that he is embarking upon as RAF padre within 888 squadron.

Mark hopes to be a familiar and friendly face in the community, to be able to show God in his ministry at Ebenezer. To bring a sense of family to church services and activities alike, but above all show his openness and love of God in all his actions.

OUR CHURCH

Ebenezer is a warm, welcoming family friendly church with a long history within Langley.

Set on the high street in the heart of the village like community, we endeavour to make ourselves both accessible and available if there is a need. Also, if anyone requires the church service for a family occasion, child blessing or dedication a wedding or a funeral, we are more than happy to liaise with you to organise all that you may want or need.

At Christmas we are at the centre of the festivities with the church being the host to the Langley brass band the primary school choir and the local arts theatre as well as having the Christmas outside our front door and the lights switched on from the church.
